Daily Math #3

Please solve the problem and explain your answer.

Nick was riding on his bicycle when he saw a strange animal in the park. He noticed that the animal had five babies with it, each one looking like the parent and starting back at him. The strangest thing about these critters was that they each had 3 eyes on their heads. How many eyes in all did Nick see staring at him?

  1. it is 18 because 5 babies plus the mom would be 6 then they each had 3 eyes so you take 3 times 6 and that is 18

  3. i went by 5x3 and that equals 15 and you also have to had the parent so i added 3 more so that equals 18

  11. 18 because 3x5=15 + the mother ( wich also has 3 eyes) so 15+3=18 so the ansewer is 18
