Daily Math #3

Please solve the problem and explain your answer.

Nick was riding on his bicycle when he saw a strange animal in the park. He noticed that the animal had five babies with it, each one looking like the parent and starting back at him. The strangest thing about these critters was that they each had 3 eyes on their heads. How many eyes in all did Nick see staring at him?

    it is 18 because 5 babies plus the mom would be 6 then they each had 3 eyes so you take 3 times 6 and that is 18

    i got it by doing 3x6 and ended up getting 18

    i went by 5x3 and that equals 15 and you also have to had the parent so i added 3 more so that equals 18

    5x3=15 and than you added the parent and the extra eye so 18 looking gat him 18 IS THE ANSWER IS 18

    If there is 5 babies and 1 adult so 6 in all the take 3 eyes x 6 animals = 18 eyes staring at him

    You take 3x6=18 so then it would equal 18 eyes. My answer is 18 eyes.

    18 because 3x5=15 + the mother ( wich also has 3 eyes) so 15+3=18 so the ansewer is 18

    18, because there was five babies with three eyes each and thats 15 plus the mother's three eyes equals 18.

    it's 18 eyes because all you have to do is take 6 because there are 6 animals times 3 because they have three eyes to get 18 eyes.

    18 eyes is the answer because if there are 3 eyes on 5 of them that would equal 15 then add 3 eyes for the parent.

    18 eyes because if you 5*3=15 for the babies eyes and 1*3=3 for the mothers eyes and add 15+3 you get 18.

    18 eyes
    because 5x3=15 baby eyes and 3x1=3 for the mom so 3+15= 18

    There are 18 eyes because ther is the mom 1X3=3 and the 15 baby eyes
